Life @ Iert:
Located bang opposite the Prayag railway station,IERT tries to get as close to corporate life as possible. There are a lot of things about the life at IERT which are unique and make the B-Tech at Iert truly memorable.
We, at Iert, have the unparalleled advantage of having the best of the visiting faculty from the industry teach us. This means having more lectures on weekends and even on holidays like holi, but no one’s complaining.
Students spend their free time during the day to either help the institute through the student communities or in project work or in the library which is one of the best in the country.
A typical day at iert could start at 8:30 in the morning and end at 6:00 in the evening with lectures which are part of the curriculum, committee work, assignments, presentations, projects, guest lectures, participating in inter college events all in day’s work.
The rich heritage at Iert is another important factor which keeps students on their toes as we all wish to live upto it. Our alumni have carved a niche for Iert in the corporate world and have gone out of their way to support the institute and the students.
