Achievements

 

Institute of Engineering & Rural Technology started its Engineering Degree Division in 2001. In a short span of 6 years the Engineering Degree Division has achieved a lot under the guidance of its administration, teachers, and through the hard work by the students. I.E.R.T's name has become synonymous with quality technical education as can be seen through the results of its students.

Some of the major achievements are:

 On the basis of the overall third year result of the 2004 batch I.E.R.T has achieved third rank among all the institutes of U.P.

  • Nidhi Tiwari of electronics engineering Branch secured 4th rank in the U.P.Technical University in the academic year of 2002.
  • Stuti Sahai of electronics engineering Branch secured 8th rank in the U.P.Technical University in the academic year of 2003.
  • Ankit Verma belonging to Electronics Branch scored 1603 in the academic year of 2004 for an overall percentage of 80.1% in the third year. He is at third position in merit list of U.P Technical University.
  • Praveen Dwivedi of Computer Science & Engineering topped the merit list as declared by the U.P.T.U, Lucknow in 2005.
  • Six of our Computer Science & Engineering student have secured  position among the top ten student as declared by the U.P.T.U Lucknow in 2005.
  • Prashant Pathak of final year scored 97.8 percentile in CAT 2005.
  • Rishi Raj of final year scored 97.3 percentile in CAT 2005 & got admission in Symbosis Pune.
  • Vidya Shankar belonging to Industrial & Production Branch of final year scored 368 A.I.R rank in GATE examination 2006 and is in I.I.T Delhi.
  • Gautam Ghosh belonging to Electronics Branch of third year scored 482 A.I.R rank in GATE examination 2006.
  • More than 10 student got good A.I.R rannks in GATE 2006.

  • The Institute also stood 1st in the second merit list of Engineering Institutes all over the country in GATE result of 2004 as per the data provided by I.I.T Delhi.
